<p>According to the US Department of Housing and Urban Development and Census Bureau, the number of new homes being built has risen more than three (3) percent since last year.</p>
<p>However, while single family construction is on the rise, multi-family construction projects like condominiums and apartment homes have dropped drastically, approximately twenty five (25) percent. This is due primarily to financing.</p>
<p>Although home loans are difficult to obtain they are still available, unlike funding for commercial projects which remains somewhat dry.</p>
